Easter Break The children (and staff!) of Boys and Girls are excited to be observing Easter break! The Easter Bunny came around but few were here to greet him as most of the children are able to return home to be with family and friends. The campus is undergoing change as Spring is making its impact. The grass is greening, dogwoods are in bloom, the azaleas have opened up and many other flowering plants are providing their splendor! Stop by and take a look!
Fixing up! Efforts continue around the campus to update and make repairs to the facilities. This is a continuous process. Flemington Hall, the beautiful old home that serves as the administration building and was home to the first boys who came to the home during the 1950's has been getting some attention recently as have several of the cottages. In these photos, workmen are busy making repairs to the columns and porch near the front entrance of Flemington and to the roof of Civitan Cottage.

Bibles Chaplain Mason Smith
continues to impact the children while working with them
in the chapel ministry. At a recent Sunday service, Mason presented every
child with his/ her Bible. The service was conducted in a solemn but happy
spirit as the children received another tool to help them in the guidance of, if
not the reconstruction of, their lives. President/CEO Stuart H. Sherman
assisted Mason in the presentation of the Bibles to the children. The
following pictures show Mr. Sherman presenting a Bible to a resident, while in
another, a child offers a prayer.
