Boys and Girls Homes Country Store

Lottie Jacobs, Manager.  The Boys and Girls Homes Country Store, our outlet for donated goods that cannot be used directly by the children, is a source of needed revenue for Boys and Girls Homes' operating budget.  You, your club, or organization can help to assure an income in excess of $15,000 annually by supplying us with your good quality castoffs.

If you could periodically organize a collection within your membership and deliver the goods to us for sale in the store, your efforts would directly benefit each of the children we serve.  So pack up the car/truck - come for the day - visit the campus, enjoy the lake - bring family or friends.  We're always happy to see old and new friends!!!  The picture at right is of the Country Store following its repainting in September 2006 by members of the Carolinas District of Circle K.

ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE APPRECIATED:  New and/or used clothing, shoes, purses, toys in good repair, bedspreads, drapes, curtains, tools, electronics, miscellaneous household items, small appliances in good repair, and furniture.

All donations are tax deductible.  Collections of items may be delivered to the store or the main office at Boys and Girls Homes Monday - Friday, or call 910-646-3083 to make other arrangements.

Those wishing to contribute items for our "Country Store" program can still do so by bringing their gifts to Lake Waccamaw.  For assistance with large amounts or large items, telephone Larry Bass, Resource Manager, at 646-3083, ext. 258.

Boys and Girls Homes, in partnership with the Columbus County Chapter of the Red Cross will offer assistance to those who have experienced the loss of their home or possessions due to fire or other disaster.  If you experience a disaster, contact the Columbus County Chapter of the Red Cross at telephone number 910-642-3364. You will be issued a voucher that can be redeemed for clothing at the Boys and Girls Homes Country Store.

On behalf of our children, Thank you for your help!!
