The 2002 RDU Interline Golf Classic

The RDU CLASSIC (click for highlights of 2002 classic) became involved with Boys and Girls Homes in 1987.  The tournament, held in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area of North Carolina, has contributed generously to the work of Boys and Girls Homes since that time.  We look forward to this years event, the 24th annual classic, to be held August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2002.  Last year's tournament produced $2,880.00 for Boys and Girls Homes, for a grand total of $140,880.00 of all tournaments!

Persons interested in or participating in the tournament can check this site for frequent updates regarding the 2002 event. Special thanks to Bob and Sue Pinney and Kathy Hannah for their efforts on behalf of the RDU Classic.

Agreements have been reached with Hyland Hills and Foxfire Resort courses to host this years golfing events.  The yardage figures for the courses are:  Hyland Hills - white/6333, senior/5574, and ladies/5208.  Foxfire Resort (west course, now named the Red course) - white/6155, senior/5745, and ladies/4677.  Click here for further information regarding the 2002 event.
