The RDU CLASSIC became involved with Boys and Girls Homes in 1987.  The tournament, held in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area of North Carolina, has contributed generously to the work of Boys and Girls Homes by spreading word of our mission and donating financially (more than $150,000) since that time.  Each year, former and retired airline workers, family, and friends gather to play golf, renew acquaintances, socialize - and help the children of Boys and Girls Homes.  We appreciate the kindness and support of the participants and especially those of the organizers of this grand event.  The thirtieth and final (scheduled to be!) event is planned for August 2009.
