Highlights of 2003 25th Anniversary RDU Interline Classic
Did you ever think when you played your first RDU GOLF CLASSIC that you would still be coming in the year 2003? Well we hope you will plan to attend this year's tournament, marking our 25th anniversary. The RDU CLASSIC (click for highlights of 2002 classic) became involved with Boys and Girls Homes in 1987. The tournament, held in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area of North Carolina, has contributed generously to the work of Boys and Girls Homes since that time. Last year, we donated $3250 to Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina for a grand total of $144,130.00! Thanks to all who participated!
We will do our best to make this a fun and special event as we have in the years past. Courses this year are Deercroft Golf Club and Legacy Golf Club. Kathy Hannah will once again head up the mini Captain's Choice tournament Thursday morning. A limit of 60 players can be accepted. Those that wish to play will use their practice round ticket plus pay $21.00 for prizes and lunch. Deercroft plays 6065 yards from the white, 5458 from the seniors, and 4935 from the ladies tees. Legacy plays 6023 yards from the white and 4948 from the ladies. (You may play the senior tees if you will be 62 as of July 31st.) Range balls are included Fri. & Sat. at Deercroft.
