The Holiday Inn off route 1 in Southern Pines, NC will be our host hotel and will block rooms at a tournament rate of $60 thru July 9th.  After this date, rooms will be $84.  You must make your own reservations.  You may click on the link above or contact the hotel at 800-262-5737 or 910-692-8585.  Rate includes 1 buffet and 2 breakfasts.  A pig picking is part of the entry fee.  Tournament menu includes:  Thursday-2 Meats, 4 Veggies, Salad & Dessert, Coffee & Tea; Friday and Saturday Breakfast Bar-Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes w/syrup, Bacon, Sausage & Grits, Hashbrowns, Biscuits & Gravy, Coffee & Juice; Saturday Night-Happy Hour followed by our Pig Pickin' & BBQ dinner.

Car rental rates by Thrifty at RDU or GSO are $29.99 + tax -Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun.  $34.96 + tax all other days.  (airport tax runs at 25.5% over rental costs)  Note:  Give this source code (7741 FS).  RDU - 919-840-0583.  GSO - 336-668-3488.  Lower rental rates might be available through individual agreements.

June 30 is the deadline for applications.  If you wish to follow another group, please indicate on your entry form.  Coolers allowed at Deercroft.  A small (must fit in cart basket) cooler is allowed at Legacy.  Beverages and snacks will be available at the courses.

Fees:  Golfer $165  Captain's Choice $21  Guest $50  Hotel fees above (you must make your own)  Cancellation Fees-Tournament.  A $15 fee will be charged prior to July 10th, $85 fee from July 11th-26th, and $125 fee July 27th or after.  There is no fee if someone takes your place.

A practice round (Thursday) is part of your entry fee and can be played at either course.  Calling for a tee time is suggested, phone numbers are:  Deercroft - 800-787-7323, Legacy - 800-344-8825. Tee times before noon at Legacy will require each golfer to pay $5.00 plus practice stub.

A mini "best ball" tournament will be held Thursday at Deercroft with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.  A maximum of 60 golfers will be allowed in this event.  For those wishing to play in this event, one must use their practice round stub and pay an additional $21.  Note entry form.

WEDNESDAY July 30

5 p.m. - 7 p.m.  Registration Main Lobby of Hotel.

THURSDAY  July 31

7 a.m. - 11 a.m.  Registration Main Lobby of Hotel

-all day- Practice round, either course with tee time.  Practice stub ticket is needed.

8 a.m.  Captain's Choice Mini Tournament at Deercroft (8:30 shotgun start)

6-7 p.m.  Social Hour-Greet Your Friends.

7-9 p.m. Buffet Dinner Hotel Conference Room

FRIDAY August 1

6:30 a.m.  Breakfast bar opens

8 a.m.  First round of golf (shotgun start at 8:30).  Turn in score cards immediately.

Evening  Open night, have fun, be ready for Saturday.

SATURDAY August 2

6:30 a.m.  Breakfast bar opens

8 a.m.  2nd round of golf  (shotgun start at 8:30).  Turn in score cards immediately.

6-7 p.m.  Social Hour-lament about the shots you missed!!

7-9 p.m.  Pig Pickin', followed by Awards, Etc.
