North Carolina Optimist Awards

A.  A club whose contributions to the Immediate Care Fund average $5.00 per member will be awarded 500 points, $10.00 will get 1,500 points and $20.00 or over average will receive 2,000 points.

B.  A club that contributes at least $10.00 per member to the Endowment Fund will receive 500 points.  An average of $25.00 or over per member will receive 1,000 points.

C.  The President and Club Chairman of any club that contributes at least $30.00 per member (both funds) will receive a NC Optimist Past-Governors Award of Excellence.

D.  A club will receive 50 points per member for each member who purchases a fully paid ($60.00 or more) 5 x 12.  Maximum per club 1,000 points.

E.  A Boys & Girls Homes of NC, Inc. Flag Banner Patch will be given to each club that achieves twenty-five percent (25%) membership fully paid participation in 5 x 12 program based on October 1 membership.

F.  Any club that increases its contributions to Boys & Girls Homes of NC by at least 10% over the previous year contributions (with a minimum contribution of $125) will receive an appropriate banner patch (or year patch).

G.  Any club that contributes at least $25.00 per member to Boys and Girls Homes of NC (membership as of October 1) will receive an appropriate banner patch (or year patch).

H.  The club in each district that contributes the most money will receive an Award of Excellence.  To be presented at first quarter Board Meeting.

I.  The club in each district that contributes the highest per member contribution will receive an Award of Appreciation.  To be presented at first quarter Board Meeting.

J.  The Lieutenant Governors who have at least 50 percent (50%) of their clubs earn both the Immediate Care and Endowment Fund Points will receive a Plaque of Appreciation.

K.  The Lieutenant Governor who has the highest percentage of fully paid 5 x 12 members, with a minimum of ten percent (10%) participation, based on October 1 membership will receive a plaque.

L.  If the District has twenty-five percent (25%) of its clubs earn both the Immediate Care and Endowment Fund Points; the Governor will receive the Past Governors' Achievement Award.

M.  When contributions to the Endowment Fund from any one club reach $2,500 or more, a separate Endowment Fund will be established in the name of that club.
