Black's Tire Service/USAR
Myrtle Beach Outing 2005
Boys and Girls Homes of NC appreciates the efforts and support of the staff and management of Black's Tire Service and USAR (United Speed Alliance Racing) for making the Homes a part of the 2005 Hooter's ProCup race weekend at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Ricky Benton, Owner/President of Black's Tire, Ricky Benton, Jr., John Malpass and all the staff of Black's Tire have made tremendous efforts to support the children of the Homes. In the 2002-2004 years, approximately $45,000 was raised by Black's Tire to aid in the financial efforts for the children. In addition, allowing the children to participate in the race weekend, charity golf tournaments, and Myrtle Beach Sun Fun activities have been exciting activities for the children. Highlights of the 2005 event are documented below. On behalf of the children, thanks to all who have made the involvement and support of Boys and Girls Homes possible.
