Boys and Girls Homes of NC is fortunate to have the support of Ricky Benton, his family, and staff at Blacks Tire Service in support of its efforts for abused, neglected, and otherwise on-the-street children.  The 2009 charity golf outing was another phenomenal event for the children of Boys and Girls Homes.  Ricky Benton presented a check for $50,000 representing the proceeds of the June 19 Charity Golf Event at Myrtle Beach National Golf Course to Boys and Girls Homes President Gary Faircloth prior to the start of the 2009 USARacing event at Myrtle Beach Speedway on June 20, 2009.   On hand to witness the event in addition to the thousands of race fans in the stands and before a television audience were the children of Boys and Girls Homes, guests of Ricky and BTS.  On behalf of the children, thanks to Ricky and Diane Benton, their family, the staff of Black's Tire Service, and all who participated in the 2009 Charity Golf Event possible.   See related press release.
