Framed by portraits of Boys and Girls Homes founder A.D. Peacock and first Executive Director Rube McCray, Becky Wray ceremonially passes the leadership of Boys and Girls Homes to former Boys Home resident Gary Faircloth. At a meeting of staff and residents on July 3, Board of Trustees Vice Chairman Jim Hill thanked Becky Wray for her leadership of the Homes as Interim President and welcomed Faircloth back "home" and to his post as chief executive of the Homes. Faircloth shared some of his experiences as a child living at the Homes and talked about the importance of "ubuntu" in his role in leading the Homes before presenting Ms. Wray with an inscribed t-shirt. |
